About the opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Director to join our VIC Ultra High Net Wealth Team. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in complex lending, expert knowledge of ultra-high net worth client needs and an established network of clients and referrers.
The role will involve:
- Guiding clients and business partners throughout their lending journey, providing essential insights for developing authentic long-term relationships.
- Building new client relationships and identifying new business development opportunities by advocating for CBA and its products.
- Developing personal brand and network in the community to enhance credibility.
- Determining suitable lending solutions with prospective homebuyers and submitting lending applications.
- Growing business by building and maintaining external referral sources and seeking external referrals from existing customers.
- Referring customers with more complex financial needs to specialists within the Group.
- Researching market trends and economic changes affecting customers and the Group.
- Sharing best practice, productivity ideas and implementing continuous improvement initiatives.
- Supporting the Private Banking team by inspiring, developing and growing colleagues.
About you
To be successful in this role, you will require recent experience in a similar position from within Private Banking, Business/Commercial Banking or similar. You should also have experience in residential and commercial lending, including complex lending structures and the ability to interpret complex financials.
A demonstrated ability to develop new networks and maintain effective relationships with ultra-high net worth clients is essential. Tertiary qualifications in Commerce, Business or related field (preferred) and RG146 (preferred) are also desirable.
Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience.
