About Timberlink Australia
Timberlink Australia is a leading timber products manufacturing and distribution business. Our two manufacturing sites are located close to some of the best plantation pine resources in the world. Our fit-for-purpose indoor and outdoor plantation pine products are suitable for building new homes, renovation projects, and other industrial manufacturing applications.
About the Role
We are now searching for an experienced Production Planner to optimise the utilisation on the CLT GLT plant and equipment. Your responsibilities will include:
- Thoroughly understanding company processes, customer requirements, panel / beam designs, sequencing, nesting, and despatch load builds.
- Creating production plans that optimise utilisation across all parameters.
- Engaging with stakeholders to develop strong working relationships to ensure the overall improvement of the production process.
- Ensuring feedstock is available in advance and transferred to facility in agreed timeframes.
- Ensuring customer orders include despatch load build advice and details are included and sequenced in production schedule.
- Reviewing production schedule and ensuring all post production requirements are included in a post production plan and labour / equipment / materials are planned / available.
Qualifications and Qualities
- Experience in Manufacturing & Production Planning.
- Lean Manufacturing (desirable).
- Excellent Planning & Prioritising skills.
- High level of attention to detail.
- Strong analytical skills.
