Your Opportunity

As a Waste Management Operator, you will work closely with our Cleaning Supervisors to maintain the highest standards of operation. This includes emptying bins in front of house and utilizing a forklift to move industrial bins back of house for daily collection.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Follow bin collection schedules to ensure correct bin allocations are put out for collection
  • Move industrial waste, cardboard cages, compost bins, and recycling bins to relevant locations
  • Assist emptying all bins from front of house and back of house
  • Separate containers for change initiative
  • Operate a forklift safely and efficiently
  • Follow manual handling procedures
  • Assist unloading deliveries by using a forklift
  • Perform general cleaning tasks as required

Requirements:

  • Punctuality, dependability, and trustworthiness with a strong work ethic
  • Effective communication and people skills, assertive, self-motivating, and customer service-oriented
  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Professional attitude and appearance
  • Physical fitness and a can-do attitude
  • Curent forklift license
  • Curent drivers license
