Lead Botanist in Western Australia

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Botanist to join our team in Western Australia, where you will lead botanical surveys and assessments for environmental impact studies.

About the Role:

  • Conduct detailed field surveys of plant communities in various ecosystems across Western Australia.
  • Identify and document rare and endangered plant species, contributing to biodiversity inventories.
  • Analyze and interpret ecological data, preparing comprehensive reports and presentations for stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with environmental scientists and ecologists to ensure compliance with environmental regulations.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Botany, Ecology, Environmental Science, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in botany, plant ecology, or research roles, with focus on Western Australian flora.
  • Proficiency in plant identification and knowledge of local ecosystems.
