About the Role

This is an opportunity to take ownership of workshop operations, advance your career, and make a significant impact as Automotive Operations Manager.

You'll oversee workshop operations to ensure quality work, efficiency, and safety standards are consistently met. This role is ideal for a highly skilled, proactive individual with a keen eye for detail and a strong customer-focused approach.

The ideal candidate will have a trade-qualified background in Heavy Vehicle Mechanics and previous experience as a Workshop Controller or Foreman.

Duties
  • Set and monitor labour time goals to ensure productivity.
  • Manage daily workshop operations, including work allocation and progress tracking.
  • Ensure all work meets manufacturer standards for "fix it right the first time."
  • Maintain a safe and organized work environment.
  • Conduct road testing and quality checks on completed work.
  • Report directly to the Service Manager for guidance and support.
  • Provide high-quality customer service and accurate quotations for any additional work.
Estimated Salary

$43-$46 per hour, Monday to Friday 7:30 am - 5:00 pm, plus rostered Saturdays.
