About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager/Engineering Project Lead to join our team at Johnson Controls. As a key member of our industrial refrigeration team, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of projects from conception to completion.


Key Responsibilities:
  1. Liaising directly with clients to define project scope, secure projects, and ensure customer satisfaction.
  2. Project scoping, tender document preparation, cost estimation, tender evaluation, and preparation of recommendation reports and presentations.
  3. Detailed design and layout work, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards.
  4. Ensuring quality, safety, and environmental aspects are followed throughout the project lifecycle.
  5. Working closely with other departments to ensure projects are completed on time and on budget.
  6. Supporting the project team within your region and building strong customer relationships.
  7. Contributing to the growth and success of our business through proactive project management and engineering expertise.

Requirements:
  1. 4-5 years of Project Management/Engineering experience in the mechanical/industrial refrigeration/HVAC industry.
  2. Tertiary qualification in Mechanical Engineering.
  3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information effectively.
  4. Proactive approach, with the ability to work both within a team and autonomously.
  5. Proficient with MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and Project.
