Integrated Logistics Professional

We are seeking an experienced Integrated Logistics Support Officer to join our team in Melbourne. This is a unique opportunity to work at the forefront of Australia's land systems programs and help shape the future of defence within the following branches:
- Armoured Fighter Vehicle Branch
- Land Vehicle Systems Branch
- Land Manoeuvre Systems Branch
- Land Engineering Agency
The ideal candidate will have a Cert IV in Materiel Logistics or equivalent, minimum 5 years' experience in integrated logistic support or logistic engineering discipline, and minimum 5 years' experience in a Defence or related technical industry.
You will be responsible for analysing, organising, planning, and managing various phases of day-to-day provisioning, spares, or maintenance and repair activities for one or more basic programs using established procedures.
Your key responsibilities will include reviewing contractual documents, technical data, customer usage patterns, maintenance practices, operational characteristics, and related reports to determine provisioning or maintenance/repair needs.
You will also assist in developing logistics plans to improve the distribution of goods and supplies, adhere to established policies, guidelines, and procedures to maintain quality and cost control, and support distribution and network studies, monitor inventory, and analyse requirements to develop strategies for meeting delivery timeframes.
The successful candidate will possess in-depth knowledge and experience, applying best practices and awareness of internal and external business factors to enhance the Group's products or services.
You will work independently with minimal supervision, solving complex problems and applying fresh perspectives to existing solutions.
You may serve as a resource for less experienced colleagues, and may lead small projects with manageable risks.
Possess in-depth understanding of own discipline and basic knowledge of related areas, with familiarity in defence, agency, and industry standards.
May act as a mentor or advisor, provide oversight of team tasks, verify timesheets, and contribute to performance appraisals.
Often serves as the main point of contact for customers within their area of responsibility, and plays a key role in delivering effective outcomes across teams and projects.

Required Skills and Qualifications:- Cert IV in Materiel Logistics or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years' experience in integrated logistic support or logistic engineering discipline
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a Defence or related technical industry
- Knowledge and experience in Defence logistics management systems, including but not limited to - MILIS, LNIDs, NAVALLOW, APLCRATES and AMPS
