About the Role

This is a hands-on, technical role that requires a strong background in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and experience in implementing and managing GIS solutions across project teams, stakeholders, and delivery partners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the technical implementation and uptake of GIS across project teams, key stakeholders, and delivery partners.
  • Ensure high-quality outputs and promote innovative solutions.
  • Coordinate and assure GIS deliverables from suppliers delivering Transport for NSW projects.
  • Lead and contribute to shaping the future vision for transport and land use for the communities of NSW through spatial analysis.
Requirements
  • Technical expertise in the ESRI product suite and experience in applying spatial analysis to complex transport infrastructure and planning projects.
  • Good data management practices and a commitment to providing high-quality and timely support to multiple project teams and external stakeholders.
  • Strong communication skills - both written and verbal - and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • A positive can-do attitude and the ability to mentor others in the team to improve the quality and timeliness of outputs.
