About the Opportunity

We're seeking a talented Commis Chef to join our opening team at Batard. As a Commis Chef, you'll work closely with senior chefs to ensure the highest standards of quality, consistency, and efficiency in the kitchen. This is a great opportunity to develop your skills and grow within a dynamic and prestigious kitchen.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist senior chefs in maintaining high standards of quality and consistency
  • Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure under pressure
  • Develop strong culinary skills and attention to detail
  • Collaborate with the team to achieve kitchen goals
  • Stay up-to-date with food safety standards and regulations
Requirements
  • Experience as a Commis Chef in a high-end restaurant
  • Strong culinary skills with an eye for detail and a passion for quality
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Team-oriented and strong communication skills
  • Proactive attitude with a commitment to maintaining high standards
  • Qualification in Commercial Cookery or equivalent
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
