Teaching Opportunities for New Graduates

The graduate teacher program is designed to equip new graduates with the skills and competencies necessary to succeed in the classroom.
As a graduate teacher, you will be responsible for delivering educational programs and working closely with colleagues to develop school policies and initiatives.
- Develop and implement teaching programs or courses of study
- Teach an area of the curriculum or a general curriculum to a year level
- Monitor, evaluate and report student progress in key learning areas
- Implement strategies to achieve targets related to student learning outcomes
This role requires strong interpersonal and communication skills, as well as the ability to establish and maintain collaborative relationships with students, parents, colleagues and the broader school community. The successful candidate will have completed their course requirements within the last 4 years and be eligible for registration with the relevant state or territory teaching authority.
