Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Crane and Transport Mechanic to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our advanced fleet of cranes and transport equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on cranes and transport equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations, maintaining a safe working environment for our team and clients.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with project managers and engineers to optimize equipment performance, ensuring seamless project execution.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities, supporting our commitment to quality and safety.
- Australian Recognised Mechanical Trade Certificate
- Proven experience as a Crane and/or Transport Technician
- Current unrestricted Australian Drivers Licence (HR Licence is preferred)
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong commitment to safety and quality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to travel and work in various locations as required
- Computer literate
- Valid rights to work within Australia
- Air-conditioning Ticket (highly regarded but not mandatory)
- Ability to pass a medical, drug & alcohol screen
