Our organization seeks an experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee the completion of complex infrastructure projects.

About the Role

This critical position involves ensuring timely project delivery, maintaining site safety, and producing high-quality results for clients.

  • Thorough knowledge of occupational health and safety (OHS) protocols and environmental requirements is essential.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for arranging plant, labor, and material resources to meet project demands.
  • They must also direct and monitor sub-contractors, suppliers, and plant hirers to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Survey requirements control and daily activity cost monitoring are crucial aspects of this role.
  • Ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations is vital to success in this position.
  • Maintaining a construction program that meets client expectations is key to delivering high-quality results.
  • Reporting non-conformances and assisting in developing remedial work recommendations is an important aspect of this job.
  • Maintaining daily records of site activities and ensuring client quality expectations are met or exceeded is critical.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
  • Certificate III in Civil Construction is required.
  • A current driver's license is necessary.
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail are essential.
  • Proven leadership skills and experience in minor civil infrastructure works and urban development projects are necessary.
  • A strong sense of teamwork and ability to deliver high-quality construction projects within budget and program constraints are crucial.
  • Experience in shoring is highly desirable.
