About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Home Care Worker to join our team in Victoria South. As a Home Care Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our customers, enabling them to live independently at home for longer.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide domestic assistance, including cleaning and laundry, to ensure a safe and comfortable living environment for our customers.
  • Assist with meal preparation and shopping, promoting healthy eating and independence.
  • Offer social support and access to lifestyle activities, helping to combat loneliness and isolation.
  • Provide respite and emotional support, recognizing the importance of mental health and wellbeing.
  • Transport customers to appointments, ensuring they can access essential services.
  • Deliver complex care for customers with high care needs, such as dementia, with empathy and understanding.

What We Look for in a Care Worker

  • A genuine passion for assisting our aged community, with a commitment to promoting independence and dignity.
  • A current P1 class or above Australian Drivers License and a registered vehicle, with a willingness to travel to support our customers.
  • The ability to remain calm and composed in challenging situations, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer care.
  • Availability to work at least 3 days, Monday to Friday, with a flexible approach to scheduling.
  • A willingness to work independently, finding solutions to everyday problems and seeking support when needed.
