Job Title: In-Home Childcare Educator

About the Position

We are seeking a qualified and experienced educator to provide in-home childcare services for two 2-year-old twins. The successful applicant will work on every alternate Friday, from 8am to 2pm.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and implement engaging activities that promote the children's cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development;
  • Establish a safe and nurturing environment that fosters the children's well-being;
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with the children, their family, and other professionals involved in their care;
  • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding the children's daily activities, progress, and any concerns or issues that may arise;
  • Ensure the children's needs are met by providing healthy meals, snacks, and maintaining a clean and hygienic environment;
Requirements
  • Certificate III in Early Childhood Education (or higher) completed or near completion;
  • A valid Working With Children Check;
  • A First Aid Certificate;
  • Fully COVID-19 vaccinated;
  • Possess excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills;
  • Ability to establish strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues;
  • Strong command of standard English in both written and spoken form;
  • Positive work ethic, punctuality, and diligence;
  • Thirst for knowledge and growth;
