Key Responsibilities

The position involves delivering a broad range of accounting and reporting tasks, including analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and providing financial insights to support business decision-making.

  • Accounting & Reporting: Support the preparation of month-end reports on key metrics, monitoring people costs, and conduct in-depth financial analysis to inform business decisions.
  • Budgeting & Forecasting: Prepare annual budgets and periodic forecasts, working with department heads to ensure accuracy and alignment with strategic goals.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement within financial processes and systems, driving efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Reporting: Develop and present financial reports and dashboards to senior management, highlighting key insights and recommendations for action.
  • Compliance & Governance: Ensure compliance with internal policies, external regulations, and accounting standards, maintaining data integrity and accuracy.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships with stakeholders across the organisation to achieve shared financial objectives.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have significant experience in financial analysis or related roles, preferably within the energy industry or a similar sector. You will demonstrate strong knowledge of SAP Finance systems, proficiency in financial modelling and data analysis tools, and advanced-level skills in Microsoft Excel.
