Are you a skilled mechanic looking for a new challenge in the automotive industry? We have an exciting opportunity for a qualified Automotive Service Technician to join our team in the beautiful Whitsundays region of Queensland, Australia.

The ideal candidate will be a fully qualified Automotive Technician with Cert III in Light Vehicle Mechanical, possessing strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude. With a minimum of 3 years' experience post-trade qualification, they will be confident in their ability to diagnose and repair vehicles to manufacturers' standards.

As part of our team, you will provide expert advice on vehicle maintenance and repair, work closely with colleagues to ensure seamless service delivery, and participate in ongoing training and development programs to stay up-to-date with industry advancements.

Duties:

  • Conduct thorough inspections and diagnostics on vehicles to identify mechanical issues
  • Repair and maintain vehicles to the highest standards, using approved procedures and materials
  • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring all interactions are professional, courteous, and informative
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve business goals, support sales initiatives, and drive revenue growth
  • Participate in regular training sessions to enhance knowledge and skills, staying current with industry developments and best practices

Essential qualifications and requirements:

  • Cert III in Light Vehicle Mechanical or equivalent qualification
  • Minimum 3 years' experience as a qualified Automotive Technician
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Customer-focused approach and commitment to delivering exceptional service
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a high-performing team
