High Performance Hardware Acceleration Engineer

This leadership role involves architecting and delivering high-performance solutions, guiding a team of engineers responsible for designing and implementing Field-Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) based systems. The successful candidate will be hands-on from concept through to production, covering hardware selection, FPGA design, simulation, testing and verification.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement FPGA solutions to accelerate critical areas of trading infrastructure.
- Lead and mentor a team of FPGA engineers in the design, verification and implementation of Register Transfer Level (RTL) designs using VHDL, Verilog, SystemVerilog or High-Level Synthesis (HLS).
- Collaborate with software engineers, traders and strategy developers to integrate hardware and software solutions.
Requirements:
- Strong expertise in FPGA design and architecture.
- Hands-on experience with VHDL, Verilog, SystemVerilog or HLS.
- Knowledge of Ethernet and TCP/IP preferred.
- Natural curiosity, strong problem-solving skills, and a drive to innovate and push technology forward.
The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of FPGA design principles, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
