About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled SAP Basis System Administrator to join our team at FAIR Consulting Group.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert-level support for SAP solution administration to clients
  • Install, configure, and upgrade SAP systems, including SAP ERP, SAP HANA, and other SAP modules
  • Manage and monitor SAP system landscapes, encompassing development, quality assurance, and production environments
  • Collaborate with SAP functional teams to resolve complex issues and implement new features
  • Develop high-quality documentation of technical designs or implemented solutions
  • Implement and maintain role-based access controls (RBAC) for secure system access
  • Establish and manage backup and recovery procedures to safeguard SAP data
  • Support integration between SAP and non-SAP systems, ensuring seamless data exchange
  • Enforce security policies and procedures for SAP systems, responding to security incidents and vulnerabilities

About You:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in SAP Basis administration and SAP architecture
  • Proficiency in database administration, including HANA, Oracle, and SQL Server
  • Strong knowledge of SAP security best practices and role-based access control
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills to resolve complex technical issues
  • Ability to provide strategic input on IT strategies, standards, and future planning
  • Contribute to disaster recovery planning and coordination
  • Effective communication skills to engage with clients, suppliers, and peers at all levels
  • Focus on delivering positive results and exceptional client satisfaction
  • Evaluate and escalate technical issues to external support when necessary
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, meeting deadlines and adhering to industry best practices

Desired Skills:

  • Excellent written communication skills to produce reports on system performance and activities
  • SAP certifications, such as SAP Certified Technology Associate – System Administration (SAP HANA), and other relevant SAP Basis or NetWeaver certifications
  • Experience with ECC to s/4 migration
  • Familiarity with solution management and monitoring configuration

Compensation:

The estimated salary for this role is $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on location and experience.
