Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Crane Technician to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing routine and corrective crane maintenance, conducting inspections, fault-finding, installation, and commissioning of pedestal and gantry cranes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct routine and corrective crane maintenance tasks
  • Perform troubleshooting and fault-finding of crane systems
  • Prepare detailed crane condition checklists and site service reports
  • Survey/scoping up crane maintenance activities to identify labour, materials, and equipment required for execution
  • Replacement of crane components; i.e. hooks, wire ropes, motors, brakes, limit switches, load monitoring systems, etc.

Requirements

  • 2-5 years' experience as a Crane Technician
  • 2 years' experience in the Oil & Gas Industry (preferred)
  • Recognized Mechanical Trade Certificate
  • OPITO BOSIET (preferred)
  • MSIC (preferred)
  • Basic Rigger HRWL (preferred)
