Salary and Benefits- MCE01P (probation): $61,911.00 per annum (pro-rata)
- MCE01: $68,721.00 per annum (pro-rata)
- Casual: $31.23-$34.66 per hour + 25% casual loading
You will acquire emergency medical dispatch support skills and knowledge through provided training in a HLT31020 – Certificate III in Ambulance Communications (Call-taking).
This role also involves dispatch support, service quality, customer service, ongoing training and development, making and receiving non-emergency calls, interaction with other healthcare providers and emergency service agencies as required.
Requirements- You will enjoy helping others during periods of high stress and anxiety through the use of technology systems, multiple screens, and high-level verbal communication and problem-solving skills.
- You will use standard organisational protocols to remain calm and reassuring to help guide and determine the most appropriate care pathway for the patient.
- You will be required to liaise effectively with the caller and other Emergency Operations Centre staff to ensure that the patient receives the required medical attention within agreed timeframes.
