pbAbout GTE Group/b/ppGTE Group is a leading engineering company specialising in control systems, electrical engineering, communications and functional safety in the mining and industrial sectors./ppWe strive to have greater technical expertise, greater flexibility, greater collaboration and greater integrity to enable us to deliver on our promise of Greater Engineering./ppbAbout the Role/b/ppThe Team Lead Network Engineer will lead a small team of network and server engineers, providing technical guidance, mentorship, and ensuring the successful delivery of OT infrastructure projects./ppbKey Responsibilities/b/pulliLead and manage a team of communications, network and server engineers, offering guidance and technical expertise./liliWork closely with clients to help develop innovative solutions and proposals to address ongoing operational needs, risks and issues./liliWork closely with key project stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate these into technical specifications and designs./liliOversee the implementation of networking and hosting solutions, including the configuration and commissioning of switches, firewalls and servers, and the planning and deployment of lifecycle hardware and software upgrades./liliAssist with resource demand forecasting and capacity planning, as well as team capability development and training./liliConduct regular infrastructure audits and develop strategies for optimising OT infrastructure performance and troubleshooting complex networking and hosting issues./liliEnsure all projects are completed to a high quality, on budget, on schedule, and safely./liliEnsure compliance with codes, standards, regulations, and client procedures and policies./li/ulpbRequirements/b/pulli10+ years' experience with process control networks, industrial communications and OT infrastructure in the resources industry./liliExperience with managing and coaching technical teams./liliClient focused with strong verbal and written communication skills./liliExperience with greenfield and brownfield industrial communications, networking and hosting design, commissioning and operational support./liliCurrent CCNP (or equivalent) with relevant industry experience./liliKnowledge of communications and network engineering covering LAN, WLAN, WAN, LPWAN, PLC/SCADA and industrial networking protocols./liliIn-depth expertise in configuring, commissioning and troubleshooting network equipment, including (for example), Cisco Industrial Ethernet, Catalyst and Nexus switches, and Cisco ASA and FTD firewalls./liliAbility to identify and analyse project problems, formulate appropriate courses of action and recommendations, and support implementation./liliStrong technical delivery skills and experience./liliThe Right to work in Australia./li/ulpGTE cultivates an inclusive culture, valuing the individual differences in all our people.
