**About the Role**

We are seeking a Home Care Worker to provide care and support to our elderly clients in their homes. This role requires a caring and compassionate individual who is able to work independently and as part of a team.

The successful candidate will have 6 months or more experience in a similar role, including experience with personal care. They will be responsible for assisting clients with domestic assistance, meal preparation, and social support, as well as providing respite and emotional support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist clients with domestic assistance, including cleaning and laundry
  • Prepare and serve meals, and assist with shopping
  • Provide social support and transport to lifestyle activities
  • Assist with personal care services, including bathing, dressing, and medication management
  • Provide respite and emotional support
  • Transport clients to appointments and social events

Requirements:

  • 6 months or more experience in a similar role, including experience with personal care
  • A current P1 class or above Australian Drivers License and a registered vehicle
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
