The Role
We seek an enthusiastic, committed and reliable cook for a permanent part-time position at Abervale Retirement Village in Grovedale. As a cook, you will be responsible for providing quality food service to residents and assisting with kitchen operations and events.
Your Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook meals according to the set menu
- Clean and maintain work stations to food safety standards
- Work with the kitchen assistant to serve meals (approx. 25 servings per day)
- Assist with cleaning up after dining service
Your Background
- Experience in café or restaurant food operations
- Relevant cooking experience or a Cert IV in hospitality or commercial cookery
- Able to multitask and work independently
- Strong customer service focus
