Job Opportunity

The Sydney Audit team at KPMG is seeking a skilled Resource Consultant to join their growing Resource Management team. As a key member of the team, you will play a crucial role in driving greater efficiency in resource deployment, ensuring optimal staffing mix on client engagements, and providing analysis to senior stakeholders on resource management reporting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement resource deployment strategies to optimize resource utilization and cross-resourcing opportunities.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to provide visibility and options for resource capacity and capabilities.
  • Manage scheduling requests and provide resourcing solutions to various stakeholders.
  • Conduct analysis and provide insights to senior stakeholders on resource management reporting.
  • Work with the offshore data entry team to ensure data accuracy in the firm's scheduling tool.
  • Assist the National Resource Management team in finding suitable internal resources for projects.
  • Proactively identify and suggest potential alternatives to resolve scheduling conflicts.
  • Take ownership of educating client-facing staff on resource management practices.

Requirements
  • Previous experience in Resource Management or a similar field (Recruitment, Workforce Planning, Operations).
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Positive and proactive attitude, with the ability to work autonomously and take responsibility for actions, outcomes, and deliverables.
  • Proficiency in MS applications, particularly Outlook and Excel.
  • Degree qualification or similar is highly desirable.
