Religious Education Coordinator

Our Catholic primary school is a co-educational institution that provides differentiated learning for all students. We work in partnership with parents to determine learner capacity prior to Kindergarten and focus on maximising academic gains for every child.

As a member of our school leadership team, you will share responsibility for the development of the Catholic life of the school, leadership of its vision, mission and strategic priorities, and contribution to the management of the school.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and supervise teaching and learning in Religious Education and the religious dimension of the school.
  • Prepare liturgies and celebrations.
  • Lead Religious Education in curriculum development, implementation, and differentiation.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders and build relationships.
  • Analyse data to inform learning and engage in future planning.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Completed or studying towards a Graduate Diploma or Master of Religious Education, Theology or Theological Studies from an approved institution.
  • Demonstrate lead teacher level descriptors in accordance with the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers.
  • Post graduate units of study in leadership (advantageous).
