About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Educator to join our team at YMCA Grovely Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) Service. As an OSHC Educator, you will be responsible for the care and education of primary school children before and after school, as well as during school holiday periods.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality care and education to children in a safe and supportive environment
  • Develop and implement engaging and educational programs that promote children's physical, emotional, and social development
  • Build strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues to ensure a positive and inclusive community
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures that promote the well-being and safety of children
Requirements
  • Hold a Certificate, Diploma, or Bachelor degree in the field of children's services or a related field
  • Have a current First Aid and CPR certification
  • Hold a Positive Notice Blue Card or be willing to obtain one
  • Have a strong understanding of the National Quality Framework and the YMCA's philosophy and values
