Job Role: Registered Psychologist

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Registered Psychologist to join our team in Penrith. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will work with clients across the lifespan and from varying socio-cultural backgrounds.

Your primary responsibility will be to manage a caseload of clients and deliver high-quality therapeutic interventions that meet their individual needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a caseload of clients and complete therapeutic processes in a timely manner.
  • Undertake comprehensive clinical interviews and assessments, interpreting findings to collaboratively determine and achieve client goals.
  • Deliver person-centred, tailored interventions with a systemic focus, including delivery of therapeutic support and training to stakeholders.
  • Monitor, interpret, report, and address signs and symptoms of risk and acute distress during therapeutic interventions.
  • Provide written reports to relevant parties outlining progress reviews and ongoing areas of need.
Requirements:
  • Current general registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  • Experience working with clients with disabilities.
  • Excellent time management, communication, and writing skills.
  • Relevant insurance, including Public Liability and Professional Indemnity.
  • Police clearance, Working with Children Check, and NDIS Worker Screening Check.
