GIS System Architect Position

We are seeking an experienced GIS professional to join our team as a Business Applications Analyst. This is a unique opportunity to work on large-scale, business-critical systems that directly impact operations across Western Australia.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain ArcGIS Enterprise infrastructure in AWS, including servers, databases, storage, and load balancers.
  • Implement security, patching, and performance improvements in line with architecture and cybersecurity standards.
  • Provide application-level support for ArcGIS Field Maps, AGOL web maps, and mobile compatibility.
  • Validate and align spatial data across systems (Smallworld, MyWorld, AGOL) to ensure accuracy for field and enterprise use.
  • Design, build, and maintain FME workflows to automate spatial data transformation and integration.
  • Support integration with Maximo Asset Management and testing GIS service endpoints.
  • Contribute to major GIS uplift projects and strategic initiatives, including upgrades, schema redesigns, and platform migrations.

Requirements:

  • Solid experience with Esri technologies (ArcGIS Enterprise, AGOL, Field Maps).
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work across multiple environments (DEV / UAT / PROD).
  • Understanding of GIS data models and enterprise system integration.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
