Job Title: Regional ITS Maintenance Specialist

About the Role

This exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled Regional ITS Maintenance Specialist to join our team. As a vital member of our asset performance contract, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and upgrading traffic signals, intelligent transport systems (ITS), and street lighting equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain traffic signals and ITS equipment across Regional NSW
  • Comply with statutory requirements and contractual obligations
  • Implement and comply with site OH&S procedures as per Ventia policy
  • Participate in the 'on-call' and relief service commitment
  • Participate in training to enhance capabilities required for the contract
  • Coordinate emergency response procedures
  • Support the Asset Manager and ITS Asset Engineer for the delivery of Asset Management Planning Services
  • Other tasks defined by the ITS Supervisor

About You

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • A genuine interest in maintaining traffic signals and ITS equipment
  • A valid driver's license
  • The ability to provide outside-of-hours assistance when required
