Role Details

We have multiple opportunities for MC, HC, and HR drivers to join our team. The roles are based at various Visy sites across Brisbane, with flexible shift options and no weekend work required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough pre-trip inspections to ensure your vehicle is roadworthy and compliant.
  • Ensure timely and efficient pick-up and delivery of freight, maintaining adherence to schedules.
  • Accurately complete electronic reporting systems and other required documentation.
  • Comply with all company/site policies and state and national transport regulations, including Fatigue Management and Chain of Responsibility laws.
  • Adhere to all load restraint guidelines to ensure freight is securely transported.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years' recent Australian experience driving trucks with experience in a similar role a huge advantage.
  • Valid and current MC, HC, or HR Australian license.
  • Experience with tautliners, flatbeds, retractable, or container trailers.
  • Sound knowledge of the QLD Metro and Regional areas or interstate routes.
  • Provide a full 5-year demerit point history & State based Driver History report.
  • Complete Visy Practical Driver Assessment.
  • Strong knowledge of Mass Management TMA requirements.
  • Excellent communication and time management skills.
  • A comprehensive understanding of road, fatigue, and load restraint laws.
  • BFM Certification – or willingness to obtain.
  • A strong commitment to safety and teamwork.
  • Pride in the presentation and maintenance of trucks and equipment.
