About the Role

We're seeking a highly skilled Product Development Engineer to join our team at Dulux Group. As a key member of our R&D and Engineering department, you'll be responsible for ensuring the design safety of our products, managing engineering assignments, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive innovation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Accountable for the design safety of all B&D Doors, components, and systems
  • Manage B&D engineering assignments in compliance with relevant business practices, regulations, and standards
  • Engage in product design by applying scientific research and engineering expertise, market requirements, and industry trends
  • Enhance B&D product quality and competitiveness and support B&D plant machinery, equipment, and manufacturing processes
  • Ability to sign off drawings
Requirements
  • Minimum 10 years' experience in Mechanical Design, Sheet Metal manufacturing processing, Injection Molding, Material Science, testing and validation, end-to-end product development
  • Extensive knowledge of engineering practices and principles of Design as it relates to legislative requirements
  • Highly skilled in 3D/2D Creo Parametric (Pro Engineer), plus Creo FEA
  • Experience in other CAD systems such as Solidworks highly regarded
  • Experience in PTC Windchill PDMLink (Product Data Management) and Creo animation skills highly regarded
  • Knowledgeable in ERP systems and MS Office Suite
