Job Opportunity: HSEQ Advisor

Fetch Recruitment is seeking an experienced HSEQ Advisor to join our client, an emerging commercial builder in Melbourne.

About the Builder:

  • A dynamic enterprise led by a director with extensive experience in construction.
  • A builder completing a wide range of fit-outs in multiple sectors, including recreation, education, and commercial.
  • A well-established subcontractor group achieving significant returns from loyal customers.
  • Projects ranging from $1 million to $5 million, primarily in East/Southeast Melbourne.

The Role:

  • Part-time, 1/2 days per week.
  • Review and report on OH&S matters on site.
  • Onsite training and upskilling.
  • A hybrid role, including working from Richmond and traveling to and from sites.
  • Review sub-contractor SWMS.
  • Conduct on-site safety audits.
  • Quality control and rectification.
  • Effective administration and communication with subbies, project management, and clients.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in a similar OH&S/WHS/HSR role.
  • Minimum of Certificate 4 in OHS.
  • Experience working within construction, with commercial experience highly regarded.
  • Fantastic software skills.
