We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Catering Assistant to join our team.

  • This role involves preparing food, maintaining high standards of food hygiene and adhering to safety practices, delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring that all kitchen operations run smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Preparing Food: Prepare and cook meals to the highest standard, using fresh ingredients and adhering to menus and recipes provided.

  • Maintaining Kitchen Hygiene: Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen, adhering to health and safety regulations and procedures.

  • Providing Customer Service: Deliver exceptional customer service, responding to queries and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.

Requirements

  • Experience: Previous experience in a kitchen environment is essential, with a strong focus on food preparation and presentation.

  • Skills: Strong communication skills, attention to detail and the ability to work well under pressure.

  • Qualifications: A valid RSA certificate and a current driver's license are mandatory.
