We are currently seeking a talented Culinary Assistant to join our team in a dynamic culinary role.

About the Role

The successful applicant will be responsible for assisting with food preparation and production, maintaining clean and hygienic work environments, performing tasks efficiently, and promoting high-quality food production.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with food preparation and production for breakfast, lunch, dinner, room service, banqueting, and buffet service.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace, adhering to HACCP standards and kitchen protocols.
  • Perform tasks within a timely manner to ensure high guest satisfaction and minimize delays.
  • Collaborate on stock rotation and control processes to reduce wastage, maintain hygiene, and cleanliness standards.
  • Promote high-quality food production, liaise with the Kitchen teams on special requests or delayed meals/production, and contribute to menu development.
Qualifications

About You:

  • A strong desire to achieve high results, driven by success, and a can-do attitude.
  • Excellent technical knowledge with experience in a variety of cooking techniques and styles.
  • Understanding of workplace health and safety principles and commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
