About the Role:

You will be responsible for responding to all contacts made to Pilbara Mental Health and Drug Service (Eastern Region), identifying the nature and appropriateness of referrals, setting priorities for management, collating information for presentation at intake meetings, and coordinating emergency responses within the region. You will also liaise with government and non-government service providers to coordinate mental health services.

Key Skills and Qualifications:
  • Extensive experience as a community mental health nurse
  • Demonstrated expert-level skills in crisis intervention, assessment, treatment, and case management
  • Knowledge of adult and senior mental health service delivery systems
  • Skills in applying national standards for mental health services
  • Able to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team
