Career Opportunity for Social Visitor

We are seeking a compassionate individual to visit an elderly client in Corrimal, who enjoys living on the coast, shopping, and socialising. This role offers the chance to make a positive impact on someone's life and improve their quality of life.

The visits will bring great joy to the client you are matched with and help them feel less isolated. Regular visits from volunteers can help to improve mental and physical health, reduce loneliness, and increase happiness.

This is a unique opportunity to give back to your community and enhance the lives of older people. You will have the opportunity to develop meaningful relationships and make a difference in the lives of those who need it most.

Requirements:

  • 18 years or older
  • National Volunteer Police Check arranged and paid for by our organisation

We'd be happy to discuss a suitable time during the week for a one-hour visit between 9 am and 4 pm, Monday to Sunday. Visits could be weekly to fortnightly depending on your availability.

We are an independent charity specialising in dementia care, palliative care, rehabilitation, specialist mental health for older people, and other health and aged services. We operate across multiple regions, providing care and support to thousands of older people each year.
