Project Administrator Job Summary

We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Administrator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and administering contracts, facilitating team meetings, and preparing and issuing notices and variations. This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
The key responsibilities of this role include:
  • Manage and administer contracts for efficient delivery of projects.
  • Facilitate and deliver team meetings to ensure knowledge transfer across the company.
  • Prepare and issue notices and variations in accordance with the Contract.
  • Issue purchase orders and complete relevant documents for suppliers and subcontractors.
  • Track claims, change management administration, and assist with the resolution of commercial issues.
  • Validate contract milestones, reports, and ensure payment schedules are met.
  • Manage compliance of multiple contracts, including notices, extensions, and variations.
  • Monitor Contract Management documentation and ensure it is in order for auditing purposes.

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a qualification in engineering, project management, or a similar discipline accredited in Australia. You must also have at least 2 years of project experience within construction, infrastructure, or civil engineering, with a focus on commercial and contractual administration/management. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, flexibility, and versatility are essential.
