Education Support Assistant Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive team environment. As an Education Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing routine support to teachers and contributing to the educational services provided to students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist teachers with planning student routines and provide basic physical care and wellbeing support for students.
  • Support communication between teachers and parents, and communicate with teachers on routine matters related to students and/or other responsibilities.
  • Provide basic support and supervision for individuals or groups of up to 4 students within a classroom setting.
  • Liaise with external providers of support services about clearly defined support needs and resources.

Skills and Qualifications:

The successful candidate will possess a strong understanding of education principles and practices, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment. A Certificate III or IV in Education Support or a related field would be highly regarded.

Benefits:

This is a part-time position, working 5 days per week from 8:50am to 3:20pm. The salary is negotiable, but it is expected to be competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience.
