Job Title: Test Engineer

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Test Engineer to join our dynamic team at the Federal Government Department. As a Test Engineer, you will play a key role in delivering critical ICT projects and ensuring high-quality outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • Executing test cases at various stages of development.
  • Developing test plans, cases, and test data based on specifications.
  • Identifying and documenting defects and ensuring ICT services meet all requirements.
  • Collaborating closely with stakeholders including Developers, Product Owners, and Analysts.
  • Providing mentorship and support to junior testers.

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years' experience as a Test Engineer.
  • Strong communication skills for creating test documentation and reports.
  • Ability to apply independent judgment and manage competing priorities.
  • Experience with test automation and team improvement initiatives is a plus.
