We are seeking a Disability Support Worker to join our team.

The role requires delivering support services such as community participation, monitoring behaviour and medication administration.

This is an ongoing casual position offering flexibility in hours.

To be successful, you will need:

  • Cert III or IV in Disability or Aged Care Services
  • National/International Police Check
  • Working With Children Check
  • NDIS Screening Check
  • First Aid Certificate (including resuscitation)
  • Valid Driver's License and access to an insured vehicle
  • Proof of Covid-19 Vaccination status
  • Introduction to the NDIS training module certificate

You will work closely with participants requiring assistance with domestic tasks, cooking and community outings.

We reimburse kilometres travelled.

Additional training may be provided by us to meet participant needs.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Daily living support and personal care
  • Assisting with household chores and meal preparation
  • Supporting participants with daily routines and activities

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Compassion and empathy when working with people with disabilities
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and respect for participant dignity
