Catholic Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Personal Care Assistant to join our team on a permanent full-time basis.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality personal care to residents, including assistance with daily living activities, hygiene, and mobility.
- Support residents in achieving maximum independence by meeting their daily living and personal requirements.
- Assist with meal service, social support, and leisure activities.
- Respond promptly to resident call buttons and report any changes in health status to the Registered Nurse.
- Enhance the resident experience by building strong relationships and responding to feedback.
- Certificate III or IV in Individual Support (Ageing) or equivalent.
- Minimum 1 year experience as a Personal Care Assistant in a Residential Aged Care home.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
- Commitment to respecting residents' values, customs, preferences, and spiritual beliefs.
- Excellent time-management and prioritization skills.
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of workplace health and safety.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
- Flexibility and adaptability.
- Must be able to provide evidence of Covid Vaccinations.
- Willingness to obtain NDIS clearance.
