About the Job

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team and contribute to the design, development, test, and maintenance of software throughout its lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the creation of software products that meet industry, customer, safety, and regulation standards.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to review, analyze, and translate customer requirements into initial design.
  • Develop, maintain, enhance, and optimize software products and functionality for systems integration.
  • Contribute to the development, documentation, and maintenance of architectures, requirements, algorithms, interfaces, and designs for software products.
  • Identify and resolve issues to ensure the reliability and efficiency of software products.
  • Assist with user inquiries, troubleshooting technical issues, and analyzing user feedback.
  • Stay up-to-date with current and emerging technologies, tools, frameworks, and changes in regulations relevant to software development.
  • Improve software processes, tools, and key performance metrics to align projects with organizational goals and industry benchmarks.

Requirements:

  • Strong Object-Oriented Design, C++, and Python skills.
  • Knowledge or experience in autonomous systems, electronic warfare, electronic sensors & sensor integration, messaging protocols, and data exchange.
  • Prior experience using Computer Generated Forces (CGF) simulation applications, including open simulation standards like DIS and HLA.
  • Experience in software development for Defence software applications is desirable.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Mechatronics, and/or Electrical Engineering.
