About the Role

The Civil Road Opening Officer will be responsible for ensuring all road openings comply with legislation and civil assets are restored to Council's specifications. This includes liaising with public and private entities, assessing customer requests, and managing contractors.

About You

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive individual with strong communication skills and a solid understanding of civil operations. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in road opening or civil operations, strong knowledge of local regulations and safety standards, and excellent problem-solving and organisational skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Liaise with public and private entities to ensure road openings comply with legislation
  • Assess customer requests and manage contractors
  • Restore civil assets to Council's specifications
  • Work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders
