Job Opportunity: Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Professional to provide specialist therapy services to individuals with disability, their carers, family, and significant others.

This role involves working with NDIS participants in Perth metro, regional and remote cities and towns across Western Australia. The position is based in Canning Vale, with opportunities to support remote clients through DIDO/FIFO arrangements, subject to suitability and availability.

The successful candidate will work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team and lead a team of core practitioners, providing training and support in interventions and strategies outlined in behaviour support plans.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct indirect and direct assessments, including observations and data collection, to develop behaviour support plans and functional behavioural assessments.
  • Support NDIS participants to meet their person-centred goals.
Requirements:
  • Relevant qualification in an Allied Health background or Behavioural Science, Board certified Behaviour Analyst or over 2 years experience in delivering Positive Behaviour Support.
  • Demonstrated experience working with complex needs and challenging behaviours.
  • A current Working with Children's card, National police clearance and current driving license.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with the NDIS Quality and Safeguard Commission.
