Role Overview

This is an exciting opportunity to lead the Human Resources team and manage the operations of over 400 teachers and non-teaching staff at a highly academic private school in Inner North Brisbane.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the Human Resources team and drive operational success with a focus on employment and industrial relations.
  • Provide support with recruitment, inductions, performance management, employment compliance, policy implementation, professional development, and reviews.
  • Develop and implement a plan for employee and workplace relations, ensuring teamwork, respect, cooperation, and a climate of excellence.
  • Ensure all standards are met, including health and safety.
  • Offer a channel for teachers to communicate their thoughts.
  • Be an innovative leader who can create a high-performance culture through effective communication.

Requirements

  • Qualifications in Human Resources.
  • Law qualifications and/or experience are advantageous.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with empathy and understanding.
  • An organised, innovative, and passionate leader who can motivate others to achieve success.
  • A deep understanding of policies and procedures, as well as the ability to implement them effectively.
