About the Role

Latrobe Regional Health is seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our dynamic Avon Unit team.

Job Summary

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in our fast-paced acute medical unit. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering holistic care to patients with a range of conditions, including cardiac, respiratory, oncology, and neurology.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide acute medical care to patients in a dynamic and supportive environment
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions
  • Participate in education and training programs to enhance clinical skills and knowledge

Requirements

  • Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
  • Experience in general medical nursing or a related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong time management and prioritization skills
