Job Opportunity

The Role:

eHealth Infrastructure Technology Solutions requires a skilled and experienced professional to manage, assess and undertake the design, planning and implementation of ICT physical infrastructure solutions to support the delivery of eHealth and Hospital and Health Services, ensuring alignment with all applicable standards and best practice IM/ICT design and delivery frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Specify and design or review complex ICT physical infrastructure solutions;
  • Collaborate with other subject matter experts to recommend the strategy for migrating Queensland Health facilities to proposed solutions;
  • Manage and mentor a small team of ICT staff working on ICT infrastructure and delivery across the state;

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will have demonstrated experience in the design, implementation, compliance, and delivery of ICT physical infrastructure solutions to industry best practice frameworks for large-scale, complex programs/projects, preferably in the healthcare industry. You will also have well-developed interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills, including the ability to negotiate, advise, influence others, and work collaboratively with people to make decisions.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Bicsi RCDD credential;
  • Fluke CCTT certification;
  • ACMA open registration with mandatory endorsements in structured cabling, coax, optical fiber, aerial, and underground;

Working Conditions:

Statewide travel is a requirement of this role. A Class C driver's license is essential.
