Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop engagement, wellbeing, and social inclusion responses and program activities that directly enhance the engagement of our students.
  • Support effective learning and teaching programs for our students in both middle and senior phases of secondary education.
  • Promote and support the physical health and emotional wellbeing of our students.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of our school's objectives and planning.
  • Build relationships and collaborate with our school, staff, students, and their families in relation to planning, actions, and achieving outcomes.

Requirements

  • Enthusiasm and excitement for working with disengaged youth.
  • Minimal Certificate IV qualification in a youth or human services sector and/or the ability to obtain one within the first 12 months of employment.
  • Previous experience in a youth or human services sector.
  • Ability to work within the four principles of Honest, Participation, Respect, and Safe and Legal.
  • Proficient computer literacy, including the ability to learn various computer software systems and ability to train and support other staff.
  • Local travel is a requirement of this position, therefore it is a requirement that the applicant hold a current 'C' driver's license.
