About The Position

As a Laboratory Technician, you will work an 8/6 roster, reporting to the Senior Chemist, and play a critical role in preparing samples for analysis and ensuring data management.

Your day-to-day activities will include:

  • Sample collection from the crushing plant
  • Assisting with workplace inspections
  • Preparing samples by crushing and milling and analyzing samples by TGA and XRF
  • Reporting test results in a timely manner
  • Performing set work in a safer manner as per Terra Mining procedures
  • Assisting with ongoing QAQC as directed by the Senior Chemist

What You Will Bring

Previous experience as a Laboratory Technician working within mining projects, a Certificate III in Laboratory Skills or equivalent, and strong organizational and time management skills are required.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, and Word) are also essential.
