Job Description

As a Mentor Coordinator, you will play a vital role in shaping the future of gerontological nursing. You'll lead the Gerontological Nursing Competencies (GNCs) program, providing essential mentorship to new graduate and early-career Registered Nurses (RNs). With your expertise in aged care and commitment to professional development, you'll guide and motivate practitioners through the program's five steps, supporting both participants and mentors.

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the GNCs Mentorship program, including recruiting, training, and supporting mentors. This involves mentoring participants of the GNCs program to support successful completion of the program. Additionally, you will work collaboratively with facilitators to deliver workshop material during the GNCs program, including teaching via virtual workshops, assessment marking, and providing feedback.

You will also coordinate surveys, collect data, and conduct interviews to contribute to reports on the program's outcomes and impact.
